Sarah, I echo what the two previous ladies have said: what a wealth of great reflections for me to ponder and use. Thank you. I also have a share about your very good practice of writing daily love notes to your husband and he writing them to you. I don't know if you are aware or not but this is the foundational exercise in Marriage Encounter. For those of us who at one time also wrote notes back and forth but stopped, Marriage Encounter retrains you to write daily love notes to each other and the result is a reconnection to that original "couple" that you were when you married. You two are miles ahead because you had that and kept it. My prayer is that you will always write love notes to each other about what is hapening in your lives and then you will avoid the almost inevitable evolution into being "married singles" as Marriage encounter calls it: 2 people, married, but each having independent schedules and independent attitudes. What richness you 2 have and I am sure it is a gift from Mary to you...and to my wife and me. You 2 always doing it and us rediscovering it. Mark
