Regina Doman, one of my favorite authors, has been facing some hard times recently. Over at CatholicMom.com AND Faith & Family Live, there are giveaways of Regina’s wonderful Fairy Tale Novels.
I encourage you to visit both CatholicMom.com and Faith & Family Live and also consider doing something more to support this fabulous Catholic family. The first thing you can do is pray. The second thing is to take action — by purchasing Regina’s books from her website or doing one of the other ideas listed in those posts.
I especially encourage you to talk to your local library. I did this over the summer, having complained about a lack of good Catholic reading and then finding myself challenged by the librarian to give her titles. Not only did they order the Fairy Tale Novels, but they thanked me for tipping them off to these books. Your libraries might be different in your city, state, or country, but maybe your parish library would consider purchasing them or you can make them gifts for all of your teenage nieces. (Not that I know any aunts who will be doing that!)
