If I'm not off hiding somewhere with a good book, chances are I'm chasing a kid or a dog or sleeping, because every mom can use a nap! I found Prince Charming and married him, and now we enjoy the idiosyncrasies of life in an old farmhouse. Oh yeah, and we root for the Buckeyes. Every time.

Last weekend, I attacked my office area and specifically the mess formerly known as my desk. It’s been cleaned and organized AND I’ve kept it that way all week.

I’m back at the parish office this week, after nearly five weeks of not really going in. Next week, things go back into “remote mode” for three weeks or so. I’m remarkably calm about this (even excited, given the reason).

I have been up early all week. No snoozin.

Remote mode on #2. The reason…traveling?
I think getting up early is a huge reason to celebrate. I really struggle with this. I did really well this past summer and even was able to get to daily Mass quite a bit. Now with winter so dreary and cold and yucky, I have a hard time dragging myself out of my warm bed and getting anything accomplished. So way to go! You give me incentive!
