If I'm not off hiding somewhere with a good book, chances are I'm chasing a kid or a dog or sleeping, because every mom can use a nap! I found Prince Charming and married him, and now we enjoy the idiosyncrasies of life in an old farmhouse. Oh yeah, and we root for the Buckeyes. Every time.
The FREE Catholic Writers Conference Online

For those of you who have written and asked me for tips about writing (which cracks me up…every. single. time.), for those of you who have a secret writing voice in your head, for those of you who are just curious, for those of you who have professional backgrounds…this is a great opportunity. There are chats and there are forums. There’s no need to restructure your entire life: this is a chance to check out the writing world in a safe environment and to supplement your writing expertise, wherever it’s at now.

The Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference
This looks like it will be great fun and wonderful inspiration and a sure way to beat the February blues (though it’s not until the very end of the month).
Speakers include some pretty impressive women:
- Colleen Kelly Mast (I’m jumping up and down and hoping desperately for a chance to meet her and take her picture with me like Margaret did)

- Terry Polakovic (founder of ENDOW and featured on Catholic Moments #119)
I’m pretty excited about going, to be honest. Will I get to meet you there? In person? 
If I wasn’t 5 hours away, I would TOTALLY be at the Columbus Women’s Coference. Looks really awesome, and also a good event to attend with my Catholic girlfriends! Please tell us all about it!
