"Joy does not equal happiness. You can be devastated and still see joy. You can be certain of grace but still screaming at God."
I have lived this, and it is truth.
Remembering Logan today. God bless you and your family, Sarah.

I read through them all - I feel so much for Susan and your family. What grace and courage.

I sit here, 8 weeks (give or take) from giving birth to our 1st son, praying that all continues to go as well as it has. I know far too well that things can change. Our neighborhood has been touched with two cord deaths in the last year before 39 weeks, and a SIDS passing of 2 month old. That is in my neighborhood alone. I am a woman who loves and has great faith, yet I wonder could I mourn with the grace of your family over this boy I love so much I have yet to meet face to face? What about my other 2 daughters in this uncertain world?

So, I cling to their stories, the miracles in them, and the faith they boost in this time of Lent - death can make any time in our lives a lent. I can't imagine the sacrifice, but Thank God for the faith witnessed by you, Susan, and your family, and I will remember Logan and Lucus on St. Patrick's Day.

Much love to you all! God is holding us all in His hands.
