When I first heard about the idea of a “weary women’s retreat” on an early episode of Good Things Radio, I was curious. And I felt a stirring I haven’t felt in a while.

I’ve been to my fair share of conventions and conferences. And, honestly, they have their use and place. I’m just not in a season of life to travel a lot. So I’ve considered that those things are for other people.

But a retreat?

I’ve had a sort of longing for a retreat for quite some time. The right opportunity just hadn’t come along…

…until now.

AriseCollage

The Arise Retreat from Good Things Radio, sponsored by Walsh University and made possible by the amazing Brooke Taylor, is scheduled for this March.

And I’ll be there.

Incidentally, though the retreat is limited in capacity, there are a few tickets left.

And I can’t think of a better Christmas gift for that special woman in your life.

Christmas is coming...do you know what you'll get that special woman in your life? How about an experience that will renew her soul? The Arise Retreat still has a few openings...

Leave your make-up and high heels at home. Bring your lounge clothing and a spirit ready to receive. This very special weekend is designed to renew your heart and replenish your soul.

The line-up includes talks from Lisa Hendey, Jennifer Willits, Brooke Taylor, and yours truly, as well as worship music from Ben Walther, holy crafts from Andrea Singarella, and the clincher for me: retreat leader Fr. Nathan Cromley.

Each day will include Mass, Bible study, Adoration, and holy leisure.

Arise Retreat - a great gift for any of the women in your life!

See you (or that special woman in your life) there?
