Let the Narnia fun…continue!

You too can join the fun and find out which Narnia character you are.

Abstraction

Well, I don’t know about this…

Your Thinking is Abstract and Sequential

You like to do research and collect lots of information.

The more facts you have, the easier it is for you to learn.

You need to figure things out for yourself and consider all possibilities.

You tend to become an expert in the subjects that you study.

It’s difficult for you to work with people who know less than you do.

You aren’t a very patient teacher, and you don’t like convincing people that you’re right.

…but then, there is that part about not wanting to convince others (why can’t you just believe me?)…

Tip o the brain to SFO Mom.

I’ve Got the Urge…

…to take a week off of blogging for no good reason (well, perhaps there IS a good reason…or two…).

…to take crazy pictures of the blooms (including dandelions) all around me.

…to pick all the flowers and make a big bouquet with my three-year-old outdoor enthusiast.

…to jump on the trampoline.

…to hang out clothes.

…to throw open all the windows.

…to wear shorts without worry.

…to snuggle up with a book and a baby and a cup of iced tea for dinner.

…to watch the sunset from my kitchen window.

…to reply to the 10,000 emails in my inbox and be caught up for exactly 10 seconds.

…to pitch and purge, from clothes to toys to books to STUFF.

…to stop blogging and go…NOW…to kiss my husband as he returns from work.

Thanks, Jean, for tagging me. If you’re reading this and you have the urge to play, consider yourself tagged (even if it’s just in the combox).

A Blessing Here, a Blessing There

It’s been a while since Adoro shared this lovely little meme-that’s-not-memeish. It was very sweet of her. This game of tag is a little different than some of the others out there: rather than looking inwardly, we look outside ourselves and bless, praise and pray for our blog friends. By participating in this endeavour we not only make the recipient of the blessing feel valued and appreciated, but we are having some fun too.

I’m going to bless:
Michelle – who is a friend that just happens to blog too (I am so grateful for the blogosphere for giving us a chance to meet!)

Jim & Nicole – who are in my thoughts and prayers throughout the day, and who are just plain fabuloso people

Heather – whose sincerity at the Easter Vigil and whose hunger for her faith is inspiring to me and keeping me from getting old and crusty in my own faith

My prayer for each of you is borrowed from Father V. and Adoro:
That you will know better the worth and dignity with which your Creator cherishes you and that He send His blessings upon you in this New Year so that you will be constantly surprised by His love.

Now, here is your mission should you decide to accept it:

a) Bless 3 blog buddies each
b) Include the ‘God Bless you’ image in their post
c) Explain briefly why they are blessing the people they are blessing
d) Pray and/or include in the post the prayer for the recipients of the blessing.
e) The recipient/sender of a blessing should type in the com box of Deb’s original post that a blessing has been sent to them so we can keep track of how many blessings are being given. For easy reference a link to her post will make it into Deb’s sidebar.

Half and Half

Yeah, this is about right (half the time)…

You Are 53% Peaceful
In general, you think the world’s a pretty great place – and you’re happy to be a part of it.
Sometimes you struggle with life, but who doesn’t?
You are quite level headed, though you have more inner angst than you’d like.

Via the peaceful Happy Place.

So, what do you say?

Turns out, I’m all questions…just like Melissa. (Not such bad company, I’d say!)

You Are a Question Mark

You seek knowledge and insight in every form possible. You love learning.

And while you know a lot, you don’t act like a know it all. You’re open to learning you’re wrong.

You ask a lot of questions, collect a lot of data, and always dig deep to find out more.

You’re naturally curious and inquisitive. You jump to ask a question when the opportunity arises.

Your friends see you as interesting, insightful, and thought provoking.

(But they’re not always up for the intense inquisitions that you love!)

You excel in: Higher education

You get along best with: The Comma
