Do you love the rosary?

If so, I’d love to hear from you!

I’m pulling together guest posts for October for here on my blog, and if you’re interested, take a look at my guidelines, and send me an email.

Looking forward to hearing from you and reading what you have to say!

Guest Posting Guidelines

I’ve had a number of people approach me about guest posting. I thought I’d include a few tips here for anyone who is interested in being considered for guest posting.

Take a look at some of the other guest posts I’ve had here over the years. Usually, when I ask for guest posts (often through Twitter or Facebook), I’ll toss out a topic or suggest them to anyone who asks. I like reflections on life, especially through the lens of faith. I’m open to humor.

Keep it short and sweet. Yeah, I know there’s a place for long blog posts. It just isn’t here in my space.

If you want to guest post, read my blog. Find out what works here, what I do, who I am. Maybe I’m preaching to the choir, but now I’ve said it out loud, online, and I can refer back to it.

Editing comes with the territory. The less I have to do, the better. But…I will make sure things are a certain way for my space.

If you have something to share that you think will work in my space, I’m all ears! My contact information is in the sidebar and I look forward to the possibility of working together.

Will I see you?

I keep forgetting to post that I’ll be at the Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference this Saturday, February 26. I’m not speaking or anything; I’m just attending.

And I am SO looking forward to it!

Any chance I’ll see YOU?

Mary Giveaways for May

Will you consider whether you can help me make our May giveaway at CatholicMom.com something really spectacular? I’m open to, well, anything Marian. I need to have things in order in the next two weeks…if you’re interested in donating an item or if you’re a business who would like the chance to publicize and share your wares, please either email me or leave a comment by April 26. Thanks!

Out of Blogfice

out-of-office

This summer, I took a sabbatical from my work at the parish, and maybe it follows naturally that, now that I’m back to work, it’s time to take a sabbatical of sorts from this space.

(Pause for sobbing.)

I love it here.  Really.  I do.

But next week, things have lined up in a way that has reinforced that it’s time for me to take a break of sorts, one that’s as much a fast as anything.  I won’t be here, and though I have posts scheduled, they’re courtesy of a friend.  You’ll want to be sure to check in and see what she has to say.

I’ll be fasting from Google Reader and reading Facebook and Twitter updates too.

(Pause for deep breaths.)

So, while I might be posting some of my thoughts to Facebook and Twitter via Ping, I won’t be interacting online the way I usually do.

You’ll still be able to find my new column on Our Lady of Good Remedy at Today’s Catholic Woman on Monday, hear me on Catholic Moments, and I think read about Our Lady of Mercy at Faith & Family Live sometime next week.  I’ll probably do a round-up of posts next Saturday (I record it here as much for me as for you, really).

I’ll miss you all, but I’ll have you close to me in prayer.

Enjoy your Sunday and the rest of the week!  :)

Notice to Readers

If what you find here isn’t to your liking, thanks for stopping by, and we’ll part gracefully (or not so gracefully, as the case may be). I do express my opinions here, and my thoughts, and my ponderings, and other perhaps inappropriate things, and sometimes those are things you won’t agree with. I apologize for that, because maybe it will offend you and you deserve an apology.
